Eastern Suburbs Athletic Club has been in existence for more than 65 years, during which time it has grown to be one of the most successful clubs in Tasmania, having won all three Athletics South Premierships numerous over recent years. We cater for all levels of athletes, in all events. We have qualified coaches in all areas, throws, sprints, jumps and distance, who cater to all levels of ability.
Eastern Suburbs also cater for the social side of athletics with regular newsletters and social activities, throughout both summer and winter competitions. We also undertake extensive fun fund raising activities, which allow us to support financially athletes who are chosen to travel to the mainland for competitions.
So whether you are interested in athletics to meet new people and have fun, or if you consider yourself an Olympic prospect, please contact us. We have athletes ranging in age from 10 up to well over 50.
